My Eulogy
By now I am gone
My life it is done
There’s really no need to be sad
I can not complain
There was sunshine and there was rain
All in all my life wasn’t bad
I had a great wife
To share my life
She was beautiful, loving, and kind
Two daughters a son
Who made our life fun
Being a dad was mighty fine.
Then the Grand Kids arrived
I'm not deprived
Of the love that they had to share
They were quite fun
The things said and done
Nana and Pappy were walking on air
I loved to say hi
As people walked by
With a smile and a, how do you do?
Listen to nature
And all of God’s creatures
And watch the birds in the sky so blue.
There’s no need for tears
I had lot’s of good years
And I hope God shows mercy on me.
For the bad, I have done
He knows which ones
I didn’t live perfectly
So as we part ways
Would you kindly say
A couple of humorous jokes
And when it’s all done
Porky can tell everyone
Da-Da Da-Da Da-Da that's all folks
