my epic year long dream

for one year I added on to my quintessential dreamland.
I had an orphanage, a dog hospital, a cat clinic, a circus
a newspaper, a bumper car ride, a Ferris wheel,
a home for girls who get sent away.

I knew they got sent somewhere, but did not know where or why.
I was nine when this dream started.
This world was exciting, fun, and thrilling because everyone loved me.
I was loved by cats, dogs, and people.

I could hardly wait to go to sleep to add on to this dream.
This epic dream lasted for exactly one year from when I was nine to ten.
I have never forgotten it.
