My Enemy

My enemy, the center of my hatred, Oh, how I wished he would have been covered in red. His skills so deadly, Surpassing me greatly. Eyes as cold as ice, Making me shudder at each stolen glance. Lips as poisonous as a snake, Hurting me with each kiss I take. Looking up at him from the floor, He does nothing but stare at me quietly. I wished he would have left through the door, Letting me come to my demise peacefully. Slowly I drift away, Remembering nothing else but destroying melody. Slowly I drift away, Remembering nothing else but his unfaithful love, my enemy.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
