My Emotional Escape
Somewhere deep within my dreams
on the distant shores,
palm trees sway and sun shine beams;
waves from ocean doors.
Polynes’an beauties stroll
barefoot on the sand;
sea gulls wander on the shoal;
ocean breeze at hand.
This is but a reverie;
only in my mind.
Takes me there whenever be
feeling so confined.
