My Dream Vacation

I am so tired of this life,
Stuck in the cycle of trife.
My heart, my head and my eyes,
Want to see a better life.
Not for forever but,
maybe for a little ever.

Wish I could sit by a window,
And read a book or in a meadow,
I would run in the field of dandelions,
Or on a safari fighting with lions.

I don't mind if it is on a mountain or beach,
But this is how I want my dream vacation to be.

Thanks for sharing this... Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
