My Dream of You

We were lying together
In comfort and warmth
I was baring my soul
My hopes, my dreams
My plans for you and me
You held me tightly
And looked adoring
at me
I felt so safe and free
Melting into our eternity
All about you and me
Then I awoke from the
Illusion of that dream
Into our reality of
the nightmare that
really was
All about you and me
