My Dream

I lost a shoe.
Don't know what to do.
A long way to go.
I am pretty slow.
People look and stare.
And say, how does he dare.
Walk with only one shoe?
A boy in the night.
With a shoe, out of sight?
What a plight.
Then I tried to run.
My legs froze, no fun.
Although hurtling along.
I was not getting on.
Being stuck to the ground.
I was trying to get away.
From who, I can't say.
Waking up in a sweat.
I washed my dream away.

Comments.
If you dreamed about shoes 
it is a sign of insecurity.
Running and not moving means
 that you are dissatisfied and not
 getting anywhere.
