My Dog Harry

Born with no love in his heart
He grew by no love from without
A man who did not know love
Alone
Alone
Always Alone
Forever he wondered what
Love is
Love is
Love is

One day, whilst walking alone
A creature appeared and approached him
With Love in its eyes
With Love, in its eyes
White and hairy and a little bit scary
It gently turned into him Giving his legs
All it's weight ,then wide eyed and sad
Looked up at him, its eyes lakes of love and
He fell in

Falling, shrieking and crying
A new feeling warmed him until
His heart burst through his chest
And like a swollen red balloon in the sun
Exploded.

Had he found love?
Had this dog brought him love
It felt so heavy and deep he drowned but
Woke with a new companion
For Life
Love on four legs
Devoted ,never leaving, never failing
And he lived a new life of Joy
In Happiness
In Love
