My Dog Doppelganger

If I had to say for sayings sake
Just because a friend wanted to know
If I was a dog, what kind would I make?
I don't like the heat so give me some snow

A Saint Bernard rescuing the stranded
seems my kind of a rural life
No big city kitties could I be branded
No yorky cuddled with a house wife

Depth, strong, solid, loyal and helpful
That's what I have in me to be
Though along the way I'll make a snow angel 
Then learn to snowboard and ski!

I love all dogs, cats anything that walks, crawls or flys except for spiders, etc. I can even get used to lizards and snakes if I have to though they are not my faves. Dogs, cats and horses are my faves. Have never been without several dogs and at least one cat in my house. It just isn't home without them. God Bless, JB

But I went and did a horribly long one that I'm almost too afraid to post yet. Show us what makes the life of a Saint Bernard so desirable. Create a scenario of a day in the life. Even so, I enjoyed the two stanzas the you gave us. Thanks for writing. Rockman
