My Deja-Vu

I often find myself in a faraway place in a dream, Living in a most unimaginable, exotic land rare In a graphic situation so real, I awaken in sweat And wonder out loud what I was doing there. Supposing that, perhaps, my deja-vu was real, That I was re-experiencing something of my past Another life from long ago, now purposely relived, Or was I in some eerie dream-like drama cast? Or does my creative mind wrestle in the night With wild and crazy scenarios of far-flung feat Having no foundation in realty, mere fiction borne Or, in some future time will I remember this beat, Its adventures and exploits, in mystifying dreams, And realize in them all some inscrutable schemes.

I count on these "faraway place dreams" nightly; I think they do not let me down.

I find them fascinating. Some of them are so strange I cannot help but believe I really lived them at one time or another.

In our dreams all our realities of past come to life, our hopes our desires our unfinished fiats, but deep inside we know they are all part of who we are and who we perceive to be, nicely written full of given thought, thanks for sharing this Milton, :)
