My Deity Is Her

Mysticism creeps in daily
Shaking her head at me
Her smiles draw my eyes
Yet do I catch her?
Not often
Unless you count the floaties in my eyes
Which is not the same thing
Or is it?

Spirituality is my go to place
Mediation is my soul center
yet for some odd reason I deprive myself her company
I know
too many hers
but my deity is a her
so live with it
or don’t
matters not to me

I always thought 'Deities' were gender neutral. Oh, well...

I think they are all gender neutral but my mother who was as religious as any I have ever met felt strongly that always using a male pronoun was wrong.
