My Dearie's Voice (searching for me at mother's house)

Tenderer, sweeter
Heart's heard upswelled
In birdsong, blossomy air
Whilst unbroke tis

Intoning what pleads
Love's "where are you?
Evening call, echoes through it
Shakes hell's abyss.
