My Dearest
Is it wrong to wait for you, my dearest?
To pace at your door like a hound?
To do right by you is the simplest pleasure
That someone like me is allowed
There is delight woven into your very being
Your perfection persists and abounds
Be it wrong to wait for you, my dearest
Then guilty I hope to be found
