My Dear

We laid in the grass Laughed till tears Fell down our face 'You're the one my dear' We sat opposite In our favourite restaurant You grabbed my hand, kissed it 'I'll never betray you my dear' We helped each other up After drinking too much You'd look at me and say 'You make me laugh my dear' But we had to face reality Thus we let go Of our lovely little fantasy 'This is the end my dear' So you held me tight Pulled me close Kissed my lips 'Stay strong my dear'
