My Day To You

MY DAY TO YOU

I gave you a new day
In midst of rains in May
When your need was a shed
If sky fell on your head.

The day held your lone hand
Took you to dry far land
Where pink sun came down close
Told you hope you don't lose.

When full moon passed you by
Star dust fell from silk sky
You heard song in air blue
Knew I was there for you.

Sweet spurt of spring breeze blew
Dream dust of love on you
Joy in you my day grew 
You found life new I knew.

My time saw light of dusk
My day you did not ask
I gave but did not rue
My day made love for you.
