My Day

If there's one thing
I'm not too happy about
It's when someone goes out of their way
To make sure I'm totally left out.

I thought my day had sunshine
But it seems the sun brought rain
I won't point the accusing finger
But I know who is to blame.

And if it happens again
I don't know what I'll do
I didn't do anything to them
Yet they treat me like a fool.

So what do I do about it?
What would you do if you were me?
Maybe you'll tell me frankly, "My friend,
You're full of self pity".

If you look to the top of this page there is a search box, type in smoking section and you should be able to find it.

I think many of us can relate with this experience. Well expressed and with a sense of humor as well. Read my "Smoking Section poem, I think you will relate.

Thank you for your positive feedback. I am new to poetrysoup and cannot find your Smoking Section poem because you have so many. You are a poet of great talent. I am starting to read your poems one by one. It could take me the whole year!
