My Day

I've waited for my day
But I'm afraid it's not coming 
With my life I think I'll pay 
Because its not working the happy tune im humming

But hopefully there is one
One who will not let me be done
Done with my life
Someone who will make me put down the knife

A knife that I've held for so long
A person that is close to me
Someone who won't let me begone 
And someone who won't let me be
