My Daughter

All the tender words
All around the world
I have gathered for you

All the gentle words
All over the planet
I have chosen for you

I have to be brave
And let you go one day
I know I will be lonely

I must be brave
And let you fly away
Although you are my and only

I have 3 boys and one daughter. I had 4 brothers, so as the first girl, she is spoiled. This was a nice touching poem from a Mom to her daughter.
