My Date With Pasta-W

I had a date with a girl, like me a perfect Libran
I took her to a restaurant which serves Italian
I went for my Amori Pasta corkscrew shaped
Ordering it on a date in fact disaster proved
I tried the sauce, a tongue tingling tomato base
While eating it went flying some on my face
I used my napkin with a hope she didn’t see
Twisting the pasta with fork, slang on my knee
My date came near me and whispered in my ear
I have enjoyed our date but your eating is severe
I would like to see you again, there is no doubt
But my request, please order the rainbow trout.

If this is a true story, Dr. Ram, it's really funny! I used to be afraid to eat in front of my dates when I was young. This poem sums up why. Congratulations on your win in the contest! Love, Carolyn

It is excellent pasta when it goes everywhere and you look around the table seeing it on faces, mouths, cheeks, and noses...Good luck in the contest...Reads like a winner..Sara

So funny, Dr. Ram!!! I think we all have a challenging time eating pasta in a delicate fashion.....It's a good thing that most Italian restaurants, use soft candlelights!! :) Good luck in the contest with this enjoyable poem! :) Love, Carrie

brings to mind alot of my own sauce experiences.. or faux pas... like always seeming to be wearing a white shirt at pasta meals....Good luck in the contest, Dr.
