My Darling Husband - Expressing a Wife's Loss
I love you and you loved me,
We’ve been as close as close can be;
Every year you filled my life,
I’ve been so proud to be your wife.
You brought such joy to everything,
Made me smile, my heart sing;
Only you held me so tight
Giving comfort to each night.
You may be gone but not for me,
For everywhere I look, you I still see;
Sweet memories help my spirits soar,
For you my darling I adore.
We’ll be together once again
And what I want to say till then,
Is that I’ll miss you in every way,
For each minute of every single day.
