My Darkest Hour

A heart is never evenly broken
someone will move on
someone will be left weeping, living in the center of darkness
A heart is never evenly broken
I am the one with the uneven piece, shattered in small jagged pieces
A heart is never evenly broken
You are the one with the blooming roses in the mist of my darkest hour
A heart is never evenly broken
I am the one in the flowing river, I am slowly drowning
A heart is never evenly broken
You are the one with the ray of light shining brightly over the morning dew
A heart is never evenly broken, one must live in darkness and aching, aching pain
