My Darkest Days
It was in my darkest days
That my faith was grown.
I had been lost in life
And feeling like I was alone.
There was no one there to help
Or to tell me it was okay.
I didn't know God at all,
But something told me to pray.
I bowed my head as I
Got down on my knees.
I said, "God, I'm in trouble,"
"I need you to help me please."
"I'm tired of this wasted life,"
"I'm done with living this way."
"I can't do this anymore, God,"
"It is in your name I pray."
How could I have ever known
That with those few words spoken
My life would be forever changed,
The devil's grasp was broken.
