My Dad Is Bigger Than Your Dad

My dad is bigger than you dad.
Okay, I agree.
My mama bakes better pies than your mama.
I know this is not true, but I say “That’s right.”
I said “My mama bakes better pies than your mama.”
Louder now.
I know, I agree.
How do I start a fight with you? She asks me.
I have no idea, I reply.
Have you ever had a fight? Her eyes remind me of a snake’s.
Not really.
If I said put up your dukes would you?
We both laughed.
Neither of us any kind of fighter.
She loves to argue, but I do not help in any way.

Lots of people like you described here. I try my best to avoid them when possible, otherwise I just listen with a shut mouth. / M
