My Cup of Tea

You are my “cup of tea”.
We blend so well and taste so good.
We complement each other.
Why don’t we just pour another?
You say when and I’ll say where.
We’ll add some sugar.
Steam will fill the air.
It will be so sweet 
and such a lovely treat.

We’ll drink our fill when we awake
and before we sleep 
another sip we’ll take.
We’ll chat and play 
throughout the day
until the afternoon.
Each day will end too soon.
We’ll discover secrets about each other
and we’ll have no thoughts for another.
