My Cry

I thought about you
I thought about me
I thought about what love could be
I thought about us
I thought about why
I thought about that guy
I thought about how it happened
I thought about the tears 
I thought about the fears
I thought about all that went on
And realized you were gone
You were gone for good
Never to come back
I guess I never understood
How much it would hurt 
To lose the love of my life 
And never become your wife
Now she is with you
I guess I never knew
Now my life has changed 
I realized my pain was my fault
I miss you so much 
All I can say is 
I hope she makes you happy
If she doesn't 
I'll be here
To take the pain away 
And love you everyday
