My Computer and I

My computer and I, always good friends, Have avoided all the new-fangled trends. Long ago I decided it would work for me, Not the other way around, don’t you see? I don’t need “Word” trying to get in my head! For years, “Excel” has held me in good stead. By modern standards, seen with the relics… A monitor, keyboard, and a mouse that clicks. I’m too old to change, my old ways I’ll cling, For I can still make my old computer sing!

I know just what you mean - although a fe years back my wife bought me an ipad 2 - at first I was reluctant but now I couldn't be without it - do you know the best bit... if you write a poem in the message facility, you can touch the screen, select "select all" and then select "read all"....the whole poem is read to you - its so good to hear it read before finishing it off.

You are a WISE one. New computer gives fits. To much advanced stuff beyond me. Operating system a big pain and head ache. Often wish I kept the old one. Peace, Love and Joy.

Mrs Betty, I'm laughing because I feel the same way. I wouldn't even know how to turn on a different computer. This dinosaur was left to me by my kids and my youngest has been gone 9 years. Lol Love the honest humor!
