My Companion

The sun is arising there's a new day on the way...
Lord, make me come alive; be my companion today.

There are things to do and places to go...
But your ways are what I really want to know.

The sun is arising there's a new day on the way...
Lord, make me come alive; be my companion today.

We'll walk and talk and spend time together...
And because we're great friends we'll talk about more than just the weather.

The sun is arising there's a new day on the way...
Lord, I am coming alive because you're my companion today.

I know that I'll face problems because life's like that...
But I feel comfortable because I know where you're at.

The sun is arising this your day...
My constant companion as you guide my way.

James Horn January 25, 2015 at 8:34 PM One complaint. When you use you and your and he and him representing God capitalize them. Other than that fine, motivating and might be a poet laureate one day. And you thought you could slip one by me. Shame on you. Ho Ho. Jim Horn
