My Color Is Not Supreme
I'm a strip of rainbow segregated
my profound uniqueness mitigated.
With self esteem
exalted to the extreme
I dare not speak of another's shade
for my color is not supreme.
"We are all different and all the same."
the bleeding hearts so bravely claim.
Those who possess
my exact train of thought
I, alone, tolerate.
So let us stay in true company
with clones only of ourselves
lest we discriminate.
