My City Calls Me

I was there so recently though
Thought my business has finished
And I bid my farewell
Everyone was quite happy and well

But I hear a whisper of my name
She calls me by my nick name
With her naughty taunting voice
That makes fallen post stand

She says, she is sorry
Sometimes she can't just get low
She thought it could not went far
That I could not go too far

My city calls me back
She says I am the best
Not comparing me with anyone -though
Just hearing at others' stories

She says she is sorry
Though it seems like she is high
She just can't calm down
All she need is just a fix
