My Citizens Arrest

I made a citizen’s arrest today, when I saw a man robbing a liquor store.
He had a toy gun, and I recognized it as such, because I have the same one.
Unfortunately, my listening ear got involved, and by the time I took him to:
Run a few errands,
Treated him to lunch,
Helped him paint his park bench,
Hired him to do some odd jobs,
Treated him to supper,
And took him to my psychiatrist, who gave him a free session,
the police would not accept it as a citizen’s arrest.
Who knew that a citizen’s arrest only counts if you take the
culprit immediately to the police station?
Does anyone have a roll-away-bed I can borrow?

Thank you my friend. I loved my ending. I truly laughed at it.
