My Church
My home is in Heaven
the next best thing
is God's house here
built on this earth
I share my thoughts
prayers for everyone
with the other saints
over a cup of coffee
We share a Pot Luck
while we celebrate
our freedom in Christ
sin no longer holds us
Pastor Bill leads us
bathed in the Scriptures
toward our eternal home
the road lined with grace
We worship Father God
our Savior, His Son
calling the Holy Spirit
within our hearts
There's so much love
lots of hugs to spare
Biblical advice abounds
holding hands in prayer
During the week, help
is just a phone call away
our sisters-in-Christ
have been there before
My great church family
full of love, understanding
I don't have to travel
The Way all by myself.
