My Christmas Miracle

The snow is falling ever so gently
Like diamonds if they should fall from the sky
The street lights showcase the downfall
All is quiet as the beauty enfolds

The snow is falling ever so heavier
Against the window pane as I gaze through
There is no rain tonight in our tropical climate
Snow for Christmas in our small part of the world

The snow is falling at greater speed
The wind is blowing the snow into a frenzy
The temperature is dropping as the moments past
A blizzard for Christmas it appears to be

The snow is falling but I can no longer see
Nothing but a white blur out in the world
But still I hold something close to my heart
For I had asked for a miracle tonight

Snow for Christmas in my tropical world
