My Child, Come

When I am on high
                life seems so easy;
             just like a piece of cake.

                 I think all is grand
              no worries or cares have I;
                JESUS won't let me fall.

          But then, the icing begins to melt...

                 I'm no longer on high
            just losing hope along the way;
                I have fallen into sin.

                 I see no more the light
                 I fear it has gone out;
               I'm clouded now with doubt.

                 Wait! There's Light and
                  there my saviour too;
               I will go, He's calling me...
