My Child
close your eyes reach out your hands
trust in me please understand
i won't leave you alone again
forever i will be your friend
wonder through this world with me
i won't forsake you i guarantee
i will hold you through the hard nights
i will be with you in the beautiful day light
give me your heart i will hold it with care
don't worry about me not having eough love to share
when the time comes you need someone
just say my name you won't be alone
i am always aroung and will shower you with praise
even on those cold lonely days
i will walk beside you and show you the way
carry all your burdens each and ever day
i am your friend i will stay be your side
i am your shelter when you need to hide
i am your father i understand
so child of mine just take my hand
