My Cat Tommy

my cat Tommy developed a cry that sounded like "mama"
Probably during a rain storm when I slept through his cry.
I always woke up upon hearing it and let him in the back door to my room.
After he got chased down by a teenager and run over in the street
His "mama" cry continued to wake me up.
Only now I was second-guessing it.
Which is crazy
Because he was beautiful and always magical.
My angel on earth before he went to heaven.
