My Cat

My Cat My companion My feline friend My brother in arms My mischievous mate My fence has scratch marks just near the gate My tireless explorer My fearless hunter My little mouse he leaves me happy he helps my hunger My deep loud purrr when my fingers tickle his belly My new scratch and bite he wins every scrap and fight I always have a smile and give a little giggle when I watch him curled up sound asleep dreaming of birds and butterfly's and mice that don't half wiggle.
