My Castle

A dream so close, yet so far away,
It's you that I need, every single day.

You're my castle, your smile, my sky,
You wipe away tears that I cry.

I'll follow wherever you lead,
Baby, you're all I could ever need.

My heart beats only when you're near,
Losing you is my greatest fear.

I crave your touch when we're apart,
Your voice is music to my heart.

I won't dare call it love, but I can't deny,
That you're my truth in a world of lies.

Hard hitting last line. This was excellently done!
