My Cards
My sister sent them to me.
She means more than
cards, and pretty
illustrations.
I only look at them
when I am ready
to see positivity
and opportunity.
Tonight,
I listened to
“Relaxation Flute”
on repeat
by Tibetan Mediation Music
on repeat.
It was the only song
I needed, tonight.
I burned incense,
because it relaxes me
when poverty
hurts.
The oil diffuser is making
me breathe orange, I hope,
and tangerines.
Strength, The Sun,
and a fool
juggling stars.
I am all three.
I leave meaning
to me.
That is privacy.
