My Car Bessie

I love my car called Bessie
Although she really is quite messy
All the doors are pretty rusty
Interior it is so dusty
Once she was a lovely blue
But now she's just a faded hue
The tyres are right down on their tread
And when I stop I feel such dread
One day a guy he came on by
My Bessie he did want to buy
I told him no, I love my Bessie
Even if she is quite messy

It served us well for 17 years, and then we gave it to a mechanic friend of mine, after acquiring a Toyota from Japan. ~ Best regards // paul Login to Reply Vera Duggan Date: 7/16/2016 10:31:00 PM Well Paul it wasn't really close to my heart as it caused us so many problems, always spending money out on it but it is one car that sticks in our memory, we have had many cars but that was the worst, we have now come up in the world and have a SUV Hyundi. It will probably be our last car and she is brilliant, have had it for 8 years now and not one problem, thank you for reading this little poem and take care........Vera
