My Camera Always Lies

Flipping through the pictures
Memories on display

Radiant recollections of the forgotten
A shrine to the past

Pain in absentia
A domain for delirium

Not existing in the real world
A masquerade, a façade

I yearn to be like the pictures
Behind the cheap plastic screen

To live inside
Impossible
