My Calendars

I always bought my calendars On this date in December. The prices had been cut by half And that’s why I remember. I purchased two for different walls And one for desk-top viewing, With different pages every day To read, as I’ve been doing. The local Barnes & Noble Had a lovely huge collection. I got there when it opened So I’d have the best selection. Alas, that store fell victim To the Covid shut-downs here Though I wouldn’t have set foot inside, My paranoia clear. The calendars, like everything, I located online. I paid full-price, but got them quick And that worked out just fine.

I too bought a large desk calendar a week ago – to keep from forgetting what day it is and how far into a new month I'm in. At my age it's a necessity if I'm to keep my doctor appointments. / Maurice

When alive, my mother-in-law always gave me a Playboy calendar for Christmas to ensure I did my viewing at home! So did you treat your husband? Aloha! Rico

Hopefully we will soon look back at these reminder poems and think “I barely remember the pandemic”

We have started to use an on line calendar which hubby can access on his mobile phone but I want a refund on last year's diary as it hardly got used. Such a shame so many places are closed down because of the virus, lets hope 2021 brings us closure and life can get back to normal once again:-) hugs Jan xx
