My Bucket List

What would I like to do before I leave this earth? Mmm let me think, ah I know, I’d love tea at the Ritz with Colin Firth I’d love to see my son graduate; I know he’s worked so hard A visit to Easter Island and Pompeii would also be on my card Some people would wish for money and some for fabulous wealth But I consider myself so wealthy, because I have my health I’d love to be a grandma; I hope this happens one day But that is not on the cards yet, but it may happen who can say I’d love to have my poems in print and write a poetry book Others would be able to read my words; I hope they would take a look We don’t know what is around the corner and when our life will end But friends and family are so precious to me and on them I can depend.

I'd never heard of a bucket list until the last few years - guess I would add one thing to this and that is to meet my poetry writing partner Darren Watson - sadly he's ill at the moment and we haven't written in 6 months but I would so love to meet the man who has encouraged me oh so much during the short time I have been writing:-) hugs Jan xx

Hi again Jan, Another great write. i love the way you started with the ritz and then finished with family and friends; they are the most important thing in everyones lives. PS i have been to pompey and stone henge i have seen both my chidren happily married i have two beautiful grandaughters. So my bucket list is about complete. hope you get your wish list filled love Shane xxx

The Ritz is a dream and friends and family are the most precious things in our lives. Sounds like we have so much to be thankful for in our lives my friend:-) Hugs jan xx

Hi Jan, This is such a special and heartfelt write. Wonderful bucket list that is not only attainable but very memorable and worthy. Another synch for you and I. I too want to go to Pompeii. A long as i live long enough to see my son graduate from university then i will have achieved everything iI could wish for - the other things are 'nice to have' but to see him spread his wings and fly - can't think of anything more I want

Aww thanks for the comment SKAT. Have always wanted to visit there and Pompeii. I don't want much - most important thing is to see my son graduate the other things are nice to have .... and as for Colin Firth - well a girl can dream! Jan xxxx

Those are a few nice personal wishes. I hope you get them someday. You have described everything here well. Just add the preposition "to" between "visit" and "Easter" in your fourth line. Also, add another "i" to the end of "Pompei".
