My Brother's Keeper

If you don’t love me, I love you…
Right behind you, bold, bright and blue;
Tall and tender, tough, through and true,
I’m my brother’s keeper and not a killer.

If you hate me, I won’t hurt you…
Calm, cool and kind… you’ve a clear clue;
I’ll send you a sauce, spoon and sweet stew,
I’m my brother’s helper and not a hunter.
