My Brother's Keeper

adventurous
a free spirit
unlike the rest of us
part brother part Indian
more akin to the land
a live connection
a maverick
a youth
a stallion
in his prime

dark skin
dark eyes
unlike the rest of us
part brother part Indian
purebred bohemian
spent youth
used and abused
years adrift
worlds apart
but bonds never severed

A painful loss, I am sure. Well penned.

Yes, it is so sad to see someone wither away and not become what they should be.

Thanks, Timothy. My brother was such a beautiful free spirit in his youth.

A lot of information compressed into a delightful economy of words. Interesting story.
