My Brother the Soilder

crimson soilder-
such a beautiful life on the line.
how far does obligation go
over and over?
You step up,
my brave fire bird.
If you left me here today
I would always remember you...
the strong one.
Reality i can not change-
the world is falling apart,
I try and not take it so badly
for i know that you;
and many others like you
fight for my freedom.
(such a selfless, nobel act)
for a country that does not care.
I wish I had half your strength-
thus, through your spirit I am free.
May you always fly
at Gods' speed
to get you back home to us all.
until than
we will await your arrival
forever and ever.
