My Brother, My Enemy

My brother in me sees a foe And in that foe he sees a friend In desperation, am stuck For to flee, there is no end And for my sake I whimper not But with tears far surpasses King Lear’s, Over his lost soul I bawl What invisible cataract blinds his eyes? What spell cast by Medusa confuses him? Together we’ve toiled, broiled and brawled For that in my heart, thou art glued Of my brothers, you are alone Brought forth by a mum who slept And out of our world crept Why, brother? Why disregard me? Why strive to quell me? My brother sees in me a foe And in that foe, sees a friend For myself I lament not But for my lost brother, I whoop Temajung Michael T
