My Broken Heart
The moment we met my life began
I wanted us to be together until the end
You gave me hope with each embrace
you let me know I had found my place
You lifted my spirits each time you smiled
you made me believe you were gonna stay awhile
I told you I loved you and you said the same
little did i know you were playing games
I told you my secrets and my dreams
I thought you cared, at least that's how it seems
Since you took your love and walked away
I feel like I'm dying with each passing day
You broke my heart in so many ways
but I'll get over you someday.
