My Breath

My sight has lost this fence that parts.
Things now are real, forgive our hearts.
Forget the petty, our strength combine.
Once deemed important, please leave behind.

We live in fear, this panic takes.
Take inventory and pump your brakes.
Give thought to those, for now they need.
My ego and pride, they now concede.

Forgive me God, forgive my sin.
The narrow path, I now begin.
Your light now shows, our way from death.
Come in my heart, you have my breath.
