My Brain

Have you heard the noise
So loud in my brain
It even has the gall
To shout out my name!
Thoughts move so fast
Like a speeding train
Sometimes I hear it complain
And that whistle in my ear
Shakes me up and pulls a chain!

Now I try to explain
That routine is doing 
It over and over again
I put on music to entertain
To sooth and tame
The need to constrain 
It surely can drive me insane
Here it goes again
Chasing a bullet through my brain!
