my boy

Swept her eyes across
Deliver her mind peace
Unshaken from loss
She sat next to me

Recline on myself
Watching through the eyes of another
Your hair swept to the side
Distant notion of a lover

A kiss, a touch
A hand to hold
Memories, clear
Truths, untold

In the darkest hour, here I am
Be my Wendy and take my hand
Have you heard of Neverland?
A boy dared to dream
A boy named Peter Pan
